A judge has reportedly denied rapper and YouTuber DDG’s request for a temporary restraining order against his ex-girlfriend, actress and singer Halle Bailey.

This decision allows Bailey to proceed with her planned international travel to Italy with their 17-month-old son, Halo.

As previously reported, DDG filed the emergency motion on June 4, 2025, alleging that Bailey posed an “imminent emotional and psychological risk” to their child, citing past incidents involving threats of self-harm and erratic behavior . He also sought sole legal and physical custody of Halo or, alternatively, requested that all custody exchanges be facilitated by a third party.

In response, Bailey filed documents opposing DDG’s request, asserting that she needed to travel for work and that DDG and his legal team had ignored her efforts to arrange monitored visits since a temporary restraining order was issued against him on May 13, 2025 . She also requested that the court prohibit DDG, his family, and associates from posting about her, their son, or the ongoing litigation on social media.

The judge’s ruling permits Bailey to travel internationally with Halo for business or personal reasons. A full custody hearing is scheduled for June 24, 2025, where both parties will present their cases regarding custody arrangements and other related matters.

Halle has yet to speak out publicly regarding this matter.
