On Friday (Nov.22), former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams debuted in the Broadway musical Death Becomes Her. As expected her groupmates Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland were in tow, showing their full support. Williams is playing the character of Viola Van Horn. The musical is inspired by the 1992 film of the same name. It stars industry heavyweights like Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, and Bruce Willis.

This isn’t the first time Michelle Williams starred in a Broadway production. Williams replaced Toni Braxton in Aida in 2003, making it her first theatre debut. Since then Michelle has starred in several Broadway productions —including The Colored Purple, Chicago (2009-2010), What My Husband Doesn’t Know (2011), Fela! (2013), and Jesus Christ Superstar (2014). On Saturday (Nov.23), Bey shared the moment with her followers via an Instagram reel post.

Beyonce To Perform At Christmas Half-Time Show

Looks like Beyoncé is ready to hit the stage again too. The music icon announced on Sunday (Nov. 17) that she’ll be performing at the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game on December 25th. In a teaser video released online, Beyoncé appears catching a football and singing on top of a classic muscle car. Decorated with red roses and Texas longhorns, it seems to be channeling her “Texas Hold ‘Em” vibe.

Netflix will air the Texans-Ravens game along with the Chiefs-Steelers game on Christmas Day. Rumors are also swirling that Beyoncé will have “some special guests from on the Cowboy Carter album.” This performance will be the first time she’s showcasing material from Cowboy Carter, which has already earned several Grammy nominations for 2025. It also marks her first return to an NFL stage in nearly ten years since her guest appearance during Coldplay and Bruno Mars’ Super Bowl 50 performance, following her headlining Super Bowl halftime show in 2013.
