Lil Wayne Responds To Kendrick Lamar Diss

Lil Wayne recently offered his thoughts on Kendrick Lamar’s GNX and a line directed at him on the project. On Saturday (Nov.23), Wayne jumped on X to react to Lamar mentioning him on a track called, “Wacced Out Murals.” The name drop seemingly lit a fire under Wayne: “Man wtf I do?!” Lil Wayne wrote. “I just be chillin & dey still kome 4 my head. Let’s not take kindness for weakness. Let this giant sleep. I beg u all. No one really wants destruction,not even me but I shall destroy if disturbed. On me. Love.”

On Friday (Nov.22), Kendrick Lamar dropped off his surprise project, GNX. Spanning only 11 tracks, GNX offers a reintroduction to Lamar’s eloquent wordplay. Jack Antoff, Taylor Swift’s number two, and avid collaborator, was part of the project’s production. On the track, “Wacced Out Murals,” Kendrick addressed Lil Wayne’s earlier comments. “I used to bump Tha Carter III, I held my Rollie chain proud / Irony, I think my hardworking let Lil Wayne down,” he raps. Lamar continues, “Got the Super Bowl, and Nas the only one to congratulate me, all these n*ggas agitated; I’m just glad it’s on their faces.
