Daniel Hernandez, professionally known as “Tekashi 6ix9ine,” has reportedly been arrested for violating the terms of his supervised release.

According to a report ABC News published on Tuesday, October 29, 6ix9ine was taken into federal custody and arraigned at the Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse in New York City. Judge Paul A. Engelmayer signed off on the arrest warrant on Tuesday morning after Hernandez missed his hearing at 9:30 a.m. Hernandez is accused of traveling to Las Vegas without permission and missing his scheduled drug test after he allegedly tested positive for meth twice. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and claimed the meth appeared on his test by mistake after he took Adderall.

6ix9ine was originally apprehended by police in 2018 and charged with racketeering, drug trafficking, and firearm offenses. He accepted a plea deal and testified against members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods during their highly-publicized trial in 2019. 6ix9ine was placed on supervised release in 2020 and served out the rest of his sentence on house arrest.

This is the fourth time 6ix9ine has been arrested within the past year. He was arrested last August for missing a scheduled court date over three speeding tickets he received in West Palm Beach. A few months later, 6ix9ine was arrested again in the Dominican Republic for allegedly assaulting some producers while he was looking for his ex-girlfriend Yailin la Mas Viral. The New York-born rapper was arrested for a third time on domestic violence charges involving Yailin.

6ix9ine will reportedly remain in jail until his next hearing on November 12.
