Soulja Boy Apologizes To Kandi Burruss After Viral Feud

Soulja Boy is backtracking after his heated exchange with Kandi Burruss had the internet talking all week. The rapper recently addressed the situation on livestream, admitting he let his emotions get the best of him. “They said you gon’ need to apologize to Kandi,” he told his followers. “Man, I’m sending out an apology to Kandi. Y’know what I’m sayin’? Shout out to Kandi. You know, I overreact sometimes; I see stuff on the internet. Much love to Kandi. If you can find it in your heart, please accept my apology—much love to you, much respect to you.” He went on to say, “I just be getting so mad, I be like man, ‘Folks lying on me and s**t.’ But they like, ‘You should have gotten mad at the dude, you shouldn’t have gotten mad at her.’ I’ma just let that rock, man.”

The drama started when Kandi interviewed Soulja’s former videographer, Charlie Rocket, on her Speak On It podcast. During the conversation, Rocket shared a shocking story about the rapper allegedly spitting in his food while they were in Las Vegas. The claim quickly made its way online and sparked an angry response from Soulja. He went off in a profanity-filled rant targeting both Rocket and Kandi, threatening legal action. In one viral clip, he could be heard saying, “Somebody tag Kandi… I’m finna sue the f*** outta you and that fat a** boy.”

Kandi didn’t waste time responding. Taking to X, she invited the rapper to “pull up” and “speak on it,” a move that only drew more attention to their feud. Social media users jumped into the conversation, calling it one of the most unexpected celebrity clashes of the year.
